Season 1

Sita questions her teacher Gautama Rishi and protects her father Rajrishi Janak.

Subahu secretly watches Mareech perform the last rites of Tadaka. Later, he tries to kill Mareech for seeking Ram's forgiveness. Sita is in love with Ram and daydreams about him. Janak conveys his intention to Sita about her marriage. The demons attack Vishwamitra's ashram again. Sita will be married off to the person who will fulfill the condition to string the Shiva's bow. No one seems to be able to lift Shiva's bow. Will Ram and Sita get married?

Uncertain about her future, Manthara begins planning a diabolical list. Raja Dashrath remembers his curse and falls ill. Ram takes over the royal duties during his illness. After Raja Dashrath's recovery, he decides to resign his duties as king and crown Ram as king. But then Manthara's trick takes effect and Ram is banished to the forest for 14 years.

Raja Dashrath cannot bear the distance to Ram and dies. Bharat never wanted the throne and abdicates the throne. Both Shatrughan and Bharat punish Kaikeyi and Manthara. Bharat tries to bring back Ram from exile. Will he succeed?

Sita is abducted by the evil Ravan. With the help of Hanuman, Ram forms an alliance with Sugriva. After a long search, they find the whereabouts of Sita. Sugriva's army makes a bridge to Lanka and the war between Ram's army and Ravan begins in order to bring back Sita.
